I am a research scientist. My research is focused in the field of cosmology, which investigates the origin, evolution and ultimate fate of the Universe as a whole on its largest scales. I am mostly interested in understanding what happened at the beginning of the universe: what type of particles where around, what interactions took place among them and what mechanism led to the production of small inhomogeneities that allowed the formation of structures we observe today.
Beside my work, I enjoy reading, playing board games and listening to music. I live with my wife and three children in Trieste, Italy.
